Tom si sta godendo una rilassante giornata al mare, così dopo essersi messo la crema solare si mette a dormire sotto l'ombrellone coprendosi con l'asciugamano. Poco dopo arriva Jerry che sta andando a pescare, purtroppo mentre cammina passa sopra a Tom che sta dormendo e rimane incastrato nella sua bocca aperta. Nel tentativo di liberarsi, Jerry muove velocemente le gambe, facendo questo spinge involontariamente l'asciugamano nella bocca di Tom svegliandolo. Arrabbiato Tom segue Jerry fino al molo, una volta lì Jerry mette l'esca sull'amo e lo getta in mare. Tom, che era nascosto sotto il molo, muove la lenza facendo credere a Jerry che abbia abboccato, così Jerry si mette a girare velocemente il mulinello per tirare su il "pesce". Una volta visto Tom, Jerry scappa via e Tom cerca di prenderlo, durante l'inseguimento Jerry stacca un'asse di legno del molo, e la posiziona in modo che Tom ci cammini sopra e finisca fuori dal molo...
