Apocalypse domani

Durante la guerra del Vietnam, un plotone di marines libera due prigionieri, Tom Thompson e Charlie Bukowski. Mentre il capitano Norman Hopper (John Saxon) tenta di tirarli fuori dalla fossa viene morso al braccio da Thompson. L'ufficiale si sveglia sul suo letto, sconvolto. Anni dopo, negli Stati Uniti, Charlie Bukowski viene dimesso dall'ospedale psichiatrico. Telefona al capitano Hopper e gli dà un appuntamento. Il ragazzo, tuttavia, presenta segni di squilibrio e decide di barricarsi armato dentro un supermercato. Tornato in ospedale, l'ex marine riesce a liberarsi e scatena insieme a Tom Thompson una rivolta, aggredendo infermieri e dottori. Si scopre che un virus altamente contagioso è contenuto nella saliva dei soldati. Anche Hopper viene infettato e, per evitare di essere scoperto, decide di nascondersi insieme a sua moglie e ai due militari. La polizia riesce comunque a rintracciarli.

With the help of Rita, a beautiful revolutionary, the boys escape a firing squad, and are sent on a mission to deliver important plans to the revolutionary leader. When they deliver a rolled up calendar by mistake, they are once again heading for a firing squad but are spared when Rita arrives with the real plans.

WWE Armageddon 2008

Armageddon (2008) was a PPV presented by Ubisoft's Prince of Persia. It took place on December 14, 2008 at the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, New York. It featured professional wrestlers and other talent from all WWE's three brands: Raw, SmackDown and ECW. It was the ninth and final event within the Armageddon chronology. During the SmackDown main event, WWE Champion Edge defended the title against Triple H and Jeff Hardy in a Triple Threat match. The Raw main event featured the World Heavyweight Championship contested in a singles match between champion John Cena and Chris Jericho. The undercard featured several matches, including CM Punk against Rey Mysterio in the finals of a tournament to determine the number-one contender to the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and Randy Orton versus Batista in a standard wrestling match.
