Grazie all'energia assorbita dalla pianta, il barone riesce a mantenere in vita i suoi compagni uccisi tempo fa. Dopo aver affrontato e vinto le prime due prove, il rapporto di amicizia fra i protagonisti inizia ad affievolirsi e iniziano quindi a scomparire.
