L'uomo che vide il futuro

Maximus, un artista del circo, con l'aiuto di sua moglie, allestisce un numero di divinazione. Un giorno però, mentre si trova su un treno, si trova seduto vicino a Christine, una ragazza che possiede doti di medium, e predice un disastro ferroviario salvando così la vita ai viaggiatori. Osannato, Maximus diventa in breve tempo famoso e miriadi di persone vanno da lui per farsi predire il futuro.
