Quando il benestante progettista di aerei Denning scopre che l'attuale fidanzato della figlia è un personaggio sgradevole, cerca di comprarlo, finendo per colpirlo e causarne la morte quando cade. Invece di chiamare la polizia, abbandona il corpo in un punto isolato della strada verso nord, facendo credere che si tratti di un incidente con omissione di soccorso. Settimane dopo non si hanno ancora notizie del ritrovamento del corpo e Denning inizia a perdere le staffe. Quando fa conoscere il suo segreto alla moglie, i due iniziano a indagare, peggiorando la situazione.

Shop Girls of Paris

The struggles of a small business owner come to light in this film by director André Cayatte. The proprietor of a fabric shop, M. Baudu faces stiff competition when a department store moves in across the street, the first of its kind in 1860s Paris. On top of the stresses associated with the rival retailer, Baudu’s niece and two nephews take up residence with him after recently being orphaned. The niece, Denise Baudu, sees the writing on the wall for her uncle’s business so she takes a job as a shop girl with his competitor and despite her success the decision does not register well with the family.

Cutey Plays Detective

Seeing Cutey play the part of a maid of all work at a college play, Alys Trevor seeks an introduction to him and they soon become good friends. She takes him with her to present him to her mother, whom she finds talking to a stranger, Lord Goodbluff. Mama does not seem very pleased to meet Cutey. Later Cutey calls at the Trevor house to see Alys and meets Goodbluff there, who soon quarrels with him. Mrs. Trevor, entering in the midst of the dispute, requests Cutey to leave the house and apologizes to Goodbluff for the young man's behavior. Then she sends a note to Cutey, telling him that her daughter is no longer free to receive his calls. By a strange occurrence, Cutey's suspicions of Goodbluff are aroused and he determines to watch him. Noticing an advertisement in the paper for a maid of all work, inserted by Mrs. Trevor, he obtains the necessary disguise and applies for the position, which he gets.

I ribelli dell'Honduras

A Corbett viene negato il permesso di sbarcare in Honduras, quindi libera i prigionieri e con il loro aiuto dirotta la nave. Sbarcano, prendendo in ostaggio i ricchi Sheppard, e iniziano il faticoso viaggio lungo il fiume fino all'appuntamento di Corbett, incontrando i pericoli della giungla.
