Carlos è un turista entusiasta, attualmente in vacanza in Antartide. Emozionato dalla sua esperienza ai confini del mondo non manca di immortalare tutto quello che vede con la sua macchina fotografica, per ricordarsi dei paesaggi e dei pinguini quando tornerà a casa. I pinguini, dal canto loro, non potendo fotografarlo, si dimenticheranno presto di lui. Un’ironica riflessione sui viaggi contemporanei e quel che comportano.
