The Descent of the White Leopard

The Russian Descendant of the Snow Leopard is based on a famous Kirghizian folktale. Apparently the Kirghizian folks had plenty of time to tell this story: to print a full synopsis would result in a novelette. Essentially, the story involves a proud group of highland hunters called the Snow Leopards, who in order to survive a brutal winter must request help from the Lowland people. The price for this assistance is the hand of the Snow Leopard's daughter, who is promised in marriage to a wealthy Lowland trader. During the Springtime wedding celebration, the trader becomes fascinated by a stranger who wins all the athletic contests. This "male" contestant turns out to be a woman, who has arrived to seek freedom for her imprisoned husband. The subsequent romance between the trader and the beautiful stranger results in disaster and bloodshed for both the Snow Leopards and the Lowlanders.

Love and Revolution

Love and Revolution is a story that puts the years of youth at its center. These are the years in which humankind feels the sense of belonging, the urge to take root in life in the strongest way. Scrivono così tre diverse storie: Aim to Please (Cenerentola e il Principe sono appena tornati dal viaggio di nozze, ma il giovane deve partire nuovamente per affari di Stato...), Tall Tail (Il topolino Giac si sente inutile, e chiede alla Fata Smemorina di trasformarlo in un uomo. Nella sua nuova identità si troverà a disagio...), An Uncommon Romance (Anastasia, sorella di Cenerentola, si innamora di un panettiere. Sua sorella Genoveffa e Lady Tremaine, la matrigna di Cenerentola, non sono d'accordo. Cenerentola, dimenticando tutti i torti subiti, aiuta la sorella a imparare a sorridere e a imporre la propria volontà alla madre...). In conclusione del film, il libro confezionato è regalato a Cenerentola, che lo legge insieme ai topolini e alla Fata Smemorina.

Tosca

Nel 1800 in Roma, governata dalla Regina di Napoli, fugge da Castel S. Angelo un prigioniero politico. Il prefetto di polizia Scarpia deve ad ogni costo rintracciarlo, perché la regina è furente. Egli sospetta che il fuggiasco sia nascosto dal pittore Cavaradossi, anch'egli di idee rivoluzionarie; e risvegliando la gelosia della cantante Floria Tosca, amata dal pittore si fa guidare dalla donna stessa in un recondito rifugio del Cavaradossi. Sottoponendo a tortura il Cavaradossi, Scarpia ottiene da Tosca di conoscere dove il fuggiasco è nascosto. Cavaradossi è condannato a morte e Tosca crede di avere ottenuto dallo Scarpia una fucilazione simulata del pittore. Quando, però, Scarpia pretende dalla donna il prezzo del mercato, Tosca lo uccide. Corre poi ad assistere alla esecuzione di Cavaradossi, che - contrariamente alle promesse di Scarpia - è effettuata senza simulazione. Nella sua disperazione la donna si precipita dagli spalti di Castel S. Angelo.
