Le comiche 2

Due stralunati individui usciti da un grande manifesto, dapprima sono infermieri su di una autoambulanza impazzita, poi in divisa da metronotte, danno la caccia ad un ladro penetrato in un grande magazzino, quindi diventano l'uno pilota e l'altro hostess su di un aerotaxi, creando molti guai e precipitando in piena Africa su un fortino di legionari. Qui arruolati i due sono inviati in missione in un campo di indigeni a far danni, per finire nei panni di Babbo Natale nella casa di un giudice, dove una festa infantile si trasforma in catastrofe. Al termine delle avventure, la bizzarra coppia rientra nel manifesto, annunciando ai passanti che le loro avventure non sono finite.

Ma non ha fatto i conti con sette monaci italiani (capitanati da Rossano Brazzi), che si mettono in viaggio per contrastare il Male. Seguito de La maledizione di Damien, ha il pregio di proseguire la storia dell’Anticristo e il difetto di non trovare un modo avvincente per farlo. Fiacco, fiacchissimo. Sam Neill si dà da fare per rendere malignamente attraente il suo Damien, ma il contesto in cui si muove è risaputo e pieno del vetusto armamentario dell’horror “religioso”.

Axel Foley è un giovane agente della polizia di Detroit, fin troppo esuberante ed insofferente alle regole. Il suo più caro amico è Michael Tandino, un piccolo ladruncolo con alcuni problemi con la giustizia ma a cui Axel è molto affezionato, dato che si conoscono fin da quando erano ragazzi. La sera stessa in cui Michael incontra Axel, a casa di quest'ultimo, i due vengono aggrediti da dei misteriosi killer, che stordiscono Axel ed uccidono Michael a sangue freddo. Indagando, Axel scopre che l'ultimo posto che Michael aveva frequentato era un galleria d'arte a Beverly Hills, dove aveva trovato lavoro grazie a Jenny, una loro amica di vecchia data. Arrivato a Beverly Hills, va a trovare Jenny, la quale lo indirizza al suo superiore, Victor Maitland, il proprietario della galleria d'arte. Maitland sembra non gradire le domande di Foley, e lo fa cacciare in malo modo dai suoi uomini. Per giunta, Axel viene anche arrestato dalla polizia con l'accusa di aggressione.

To regain control of the palace, the Marquis of Leguineche tries to handicap his wife, arguing an incurable mental illness, and then undertake a reform of the place in order to adapt it to aristocratic life.
