Questo DVD vi mostra la performance integrale di Herbie Hancock durante il trionfante concerto del 2002 caratterizzato dal ritorno al sound funk-elettrico degli anni '70. Questo concerto è stato registrato live alla Knitting Factory di Los Angeles ed è presentato in questo DVD al massimo delle sue potenzialità audio e video. Tra i musicisti ci sono Wallace Roney alla tromba, Darrell Diaz alle tastiere, Terri Lyne Carrington alla batteria, Matthew Garrison al basso e DJ Disk alla consolle. Interessante l'opzione MX DVD Video, che vi offrirà circa mezzora di riprese inedite: nel corso della performance vedrete infatti apparire di quando in quando una finestra nella parte più bassa dello schermo: se usate le frecce di destra e di sinistra potrete scegliere quale ripresa alternativa vedere.

"Easter Suite" resta una delle migliori composizioni di Oscar Peterson ma, sebbene sia ampiamente menzionata nelle sue biografie, è di fatto una delle meno conosciute a livello di grande pubblico. Commissionata dal South Bank Show, il programma televisivo "artistico" di London Weekend Television, fu trasmesso in diretta nazionale nell'aprile 1984. Opera ambiziosa, segue una storia gospel tramite una suite in otto movimenti. Oltre alle registrazioni della prima mondiale, il DVD contiene anche una lunga intervista con Peterson, che rivela i motivi per cui ha accettato la commissione, i problemi incontrati in fase di scrittura e la sua relazione con il gospel e la musica spirituale.
