When the Prime Minister tries to shut down the brothel Gilles decides to stand against him in the election.

Al di là del mistero

Non resistendo alla sua natura di vampiro, Dracula tenta di vampirizzare una donna, ma scoperto, è costretto a fuggire mentre il giorno si avvicina, morendo incenerito dai raggi del sole.

Irma Vep

Una delle più grandi attrici asiatiche arriva a Parigi per interpretare il ruolo di Irma Vep in un film che si rifà a Musidora, il personaggio che guidava la banda di "Les Vampires", nella serie del cinema muto francese ideata e diretta da Louis Feuillade, diventata ormai di culto tra gli appassionati. Naturalmente non sa una parola di francese e tutti quelli che la circondano sul set, si sforzano di parlare con lei in inglese, in particolar modo René Vidal, il regista che vede in lei l'unica attrice in grado di interpretare quel ruolo.

Il teatro

Dopo aver fatto un sogno particolarmente bislacco, il protagonista (Keaton) si sveglia nelle quinte di un teatro, dove fa numerosi incontri e provoca altrettanti danni.

Lo spaventoso eroe ha un disperato bisogno di soldi per salvare la sua amica dalla cecità, ma presto dovrà liberare Tromaville dai suoi malefici dominatori.

I vicini

Buster ama, corrisposto, la ragazza sua vicina di casa: le abitazioni delle due famiglie sono divise però da una staccionata e i rispettivi genitori si detestano. Quando i due prendono a scambiarsi biglietti d'amore, inizia tra le famiglie una serie di scontri e di equivoci, fino all'intervento della polizia, che tenta di rinchiudere il ragazzo. Invano, però, perché questi riesce sempre a fuggire.

Quell'oscuro oggetto del desiderio
