Launder Run

Launder Run tells the story of Jake, a man returning to his gritty hometown after years away, carrying the weight of a troubled past. The film opens on a rainy Saturday afternoon as Jake trudges through a bleak estate, visibly exhausted and clutching a plastic bag. Arriving at his sister Sue’s chaotic, unkempt flat, he confronts the ruins of his old life—a dirty fridge, a cluttered bedroom reduced to storage, and the ghosts of a once-close family. Seeking solace, he revisits his old pub, a place teeming with memories. As he steps inside, the bartender recognizes him with shock, hinting at Jake’s mysterious past and the reasons for his long absence. “Lounder Run” explores themes of homecoming, redemption, and the unshakable grip of one’s origins.

Per la seconda parte del film guardare "Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion". Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Feature Film, è l'edizione concatenata e senza ripetizioni dei due film cinematografici originari della serie Neon Genesis Evangelion usciti nel 1997, Evangelion: Death & Rebirth e The End of Evangelion. Si compone di due parti, la seconda delle quali a sua volta divisa in due capitoli: Death(true)² e Air/Magokoro wo, kimi ni. In sostanza, questa riedizione consiste nella somma dei due film originari del 1997 senza le scene inedite e senza la seconda parte del primo film, riproposta identica nel secondo. In Giappone è stato pubblicato nei DVD 9 e 10 della Renewal of Evangelion.

Quella macchia che niente può cancellare e rende i genitori impotenti e infelici, diventa per Maria un’ossessione tale da precipitarla nel rifiuto delle sue responsabilità di madre. L’intera adolescenza di Rebecca sarà segnata dalla vergogna e dal desiderio di nascondersi dagli altri. Ma fin da piccola rivela straordinarie capacità musicali. La zia Erminia riconosce il suo talento: Rebecca diventa sua allieva e il bisogno di cancellare la “macchia” la spingerà ad affermarsi attraverso la musica.
