Ma’am in her 50s continues her life isolated from the human beings. Every day at the same time, she leaves the house and feeds the cats in the park. One day on the way back home from the park, Bahadır’s car almost hit the lady. And that’s how they know each other. Bahadır is a young man at the age of 26 and just assigned to the civil service with exam. He lives with his family and is very uncomfortable because of that situation. He has a psychological problem and having a panic attack in possible excitement situations. Next day Bahadır wants to go to work with his car but as he moves, he hit the a car. He panics and gets away from the scene. The car hit by the Bahadır belongs to a retired police officer and the lady sees the accident and chases it. So, the situation is quite uncomfortable for him. He is afraid he has a criminal record because of her and tries to give up her complaints but can not convince her.

Unmasked

The editor of a sleazy tabloid newspaper has been borrowing money from his lover, the wife of a rich theatrical producer, and promises to marry her when she gets a divorce. However, the husband refuses to grant her a divorce, and takes back all the money and jewelry he has given her. The editor sees her husband leaving her apartment and, seeing his opportunity, kills her, takes all his IOUs (and the jewelry) and frames the husband for the murder.

Alla fine della serata, Skinner con il suo vestito nuovo ha concluso un affare da mezzo milione di dollari ed è diventato socio nella sua vecchia ditta.

Viaggio attraverso l'impossibile

Il professor Craziloff (da "crazy", una sorta di scienziato pazzo) ha brevettato un mezzo che raduna tutte le conoscenze in fatto di trasporto (treno, auto, mongolfiera, sottomarino, ecc.). Con questo organizza uno straordinario viaggio con alcuni compagni, tra i quali un giovane assistente pasticcione. Dopo una tappa in Svizzera, il convoglio usa una montagna come trampolino e arriva in cielo, dove viaggia tra stelle di cartone, animate da avvenenti ballerine. Infine giunge nientemeno che sul Sole. Da qui, dopo alcune avventure, il gruppo riparte tuffandosi verso la terra, dove sprofonda nel mare con la cabina sommergibile, e dove fa un incontro con un mostro marino; infine approda a un porto, dove il gruppo viene riconosciuto dalla popolazione locale e, facendo festa, rientra trionfalmente in città.

Alla dichiarazione di guerra il padre dà un ultimatum a James ma il ragazzo, precedendolo, si è arruolato in giornata. In Francia si innamora di una bella ragazza.

Pietra miliare della storia del cinema grazie all'eccellente virtuosismo e alla potenza sociale di King Vidor. New York, durante gli anni Venti. John è un provinciale che arriva in città per trovare la sua strada. Diventa impiegato ma ne sente il peso della routine, prende moglie ma l'unione è inficiata dalle ristrettezze economiche. Tutto sembra tornare tranquillo alla nascita di un bambino. Purtroppo la secondogenita, a distanza di tre anni, rimane uccisa tragicamente in un incidente. L'uomo è disperato e vuole uccidersi, la moglie vuole abbandonarlo ma alla fine la forza di volontà sarà più grande. È l'ultimo dei grandi capolavori del muto, girato un anno dopo l'avvento del sonoro. Mostra con grande efficacia e realismo la stagione americana "inopportunamente" felice, prima della grande depressione. Alcune sequenze sul quotidiano, le strade, gli uffici, sono enormemente all'avanguardia rispetto al cinema dell'epoca

L'ultima follia di Mel Brooks

Un regista alcolizzato, insieme ai suoi due bizzarri assistenti, tenta di salvare una casa di produzione indipendente realizzando un film muto e puntando sulla partecipazione di grandi nomi del cinema: Paul Newman, Liza Minnelli, James Caan, Anne Bancroft e il mimo francese Marcel Marceau che pronuncia l'unica parola del film. Film ineguale e squilibrato come la fantasia del suo autore; raffica di gag mute, doppi sensi e demenzialità ante litteram. Alcuni momenti, però, sono indimenticabili.

L'Âge d'or

Secondo film di Buñuel dopo Un chien andalou dell'anno precedente, col quale costituisce il vero e proprio manifesto del surrealismo cinematografico (alla sceneggiatura collaborò Salvador Dalì, fra gli interpreti figura Max Ernst). Nei sessanta minuti di proiezione non assistiamo allo svolgersi di una trama ben definita ma, come al solito nei film del regista spagnolo, al susseguirsi di personaggi e di situazioni canonici, in una critica serrata e corrosiva al clericalismo, all'autoritarismo e alla repressione sessuale.
