L'alba dell'Impressionismo. Parigi 1874

Il 15 aprile 1874 apriva a Parigi la prima mostra impressionista. «Affamati di indipendenza», Monet, Renoir, Degas, Morisot, Pissarro, Sisley, Cézanne avevano deciso di trasgredire le regole organizzando la loro mostra, al di fuori dalle vie ufficiali: nasceva così l’impressionismo. Per celebrare questo epocale anniversario, il Museo d’Orsay ha presentato circa 130 opere, volgendo uno sguardo nuovo e attento alla data considerata come anno di nascita delle avanguardie.
