After the death of his mother, a lonely farmer in rural Switzerland considers finally starting a family of his own. Eventually he pays for a bride from Thailand. The couple don't share a language, but being to know each other. However the village neighbors are suspicious of foreigners.

Launder Run

Launder Run tells the story of Jake, a man returning to his gritty hometown after years away, carrying the weight of a troubled past. The film opens on a rainy Saturday afternoon as Jake trudges through a bleak estate, visibly exhausted and clutching a plastic bag. Arriving at his sister Sue’s chaotic, unkempt flat, he confronts the ruins of his old life—a dirty fridge, a cluttered bedroom reduced to storage, and the ghosts of a once-close family. Seeking solace, he revisits his old pub, a place teeming with memories. As he steps inside, the bartender recognizes him with shock, hinting at Jake’s mysterious past and the reasons for his long absence. “Lounder Run” explores themes of homecoming, redemption, and the unshakable grip of one’s origins.

Flaming Creatures

Filmmaker and artist Jack Smith described his own film as a “comedy set in a haunted movie studio.” Flaming Creatures begins humorously enough with several men and women, mostly of indeterminate gender, vamping it up in front of the camera and participating in a mock advertisement for an indelible, heart-shaped brand of lipstick. However, things take a dark, nightmarish turn when a transvestite chases, catches and begins molesting a woman. Soon, all of the titular “creatures” participate in a (mostly clothed) orgy that causes a massive earthquake. After the creatures are killed in the resulting chaos, a vampire dressed like an old Hollywood starlet rises from her coffin to resurrect the dead. All ends happily enough when the now undead creatures dance with each other, even though another orgy and earthquake loom over the end title card.

The Republic of ShKID

The film is based on the eponymous book, written by two former street gangsters - Grigori Belykh and Leonid Panteleyev. Film is set in the 1920s St. Petersburg, Russia. Streets of the city are full of the homeless boys. They are caught to be raised and educated at the correction school named after Dostoevsky. The boys are street smart and difficult. But the faculty stands up to the challenge. The teaches are being devoted and caring, and gradually win the respect of the most difficult kids. The school director Vicknixor is a refined intellectual, who becomes a role model for the boys.

Greg, ragazzino di undici anni, racconta le sue avventure giornaliere sul suo "giornale di bordo". Greg ha un amico, Rowley Jefferson, che lo accompagnerà in tutte le sue avventure; Rowley è molto infantile, a causa dei suoi genitori, ed è sempre sottomesso al suo amico. Il protagonista inoltre ha due fratelli, Rodrick e Manny. Le vicende del primo anno scolastico di Greg alle medie si raccolgono attorno a particolari nuclei narrativi.

Gli Aristogatti

Parigi, 1910. Madame Adelaide, una ricca, eccentrica e anziana signora, ex stella del firmamento lirico, decide di fare testamento e nomina eredi dei suoi ingenti beni i suoi quattro Aristogatti: mamma Duchessa e i cuccioli Minou, Bizet e Matisse. Madame Adelaide è rimasta sola al mondo e i quattro gatti sono i suoi affetti più grandi. A margine di questa "famiglia" c'è il maggiordomo Edgar, che sarà erede alla morte degli Aristogatti. Ma l'uomo, ansioso di mettere subito le mani sulle ricchezze della signora, decide di sbarazzarsi dei concorrenti a quattro zampe. Una notte di temporale li rapisce, ma li perde per strada durante l'incontro poco piacevole con due cani randagi. Persi per le insidiose vie di una città che non conoscono, la raffinata Duchessa e i suoi vispi cuccioli provano a tornare a casa, con l'aiuto dell'aitante Romeo, un gatto vagabondo, gigione dal cuore d'oro, incontrato per caso.

Dan Burns è un giornalista esperto in questioni familiari; rimasto vedovo, si è rifugiato in una rassicurante routine, in cui cerca di scansare come la peste qualsiasi novità o imprevisto, con l'arduo compito di tenere a bada tre figlie giovani e ribelli. Tutto cambia, improvvisamente, nel corso di un weekend, in cui la grande e turbolenta famiglia Burns si riunisce nella grande casa sulla spiaggia dei nonni, a Rhode Island. Lì Dan incontra Marie, una donna affascinante dalla quale si sente immediatamente attratto fino a quando non si rende conto che si tratta della fidanzata del fratello...

Arrivati lì però scoprono che di trovare un posto non se ne parla nemmeno e, infastiditi da come il personale li tratti da nullità, dopo aver notato che nessuno rivendica un tavolo libero per due si fingono i legittimi prenotatori di quel posto. Questo scambio di identità innesca una girandola di equivoci, incidenti, fughe e travestimenti con al centro polizia corrotta, mafia locale e un politico con foto sconce da nascondere.

Theodora, Jody and Carol, collectively The Violas, are on tour when their van breaks down in a small southern beach town. The local police are investigating a mass of mysterious debris on the beach and the disappearance of a little girl's parents after she's found walking the beach in a state of shock. Scientist John Patterson is called in to help investigate. Both John and local mechanic Hector Garcia fall for Violas lead singer Theodora, but she seems to have no interest in them, possibly because of a mysterious past. Hector convinces the girls to stay in town when he offers to repair their van in exchange for playing his party, but the mysterious creature is still on the loose.

Vitória

Nina is an elderly woman who lives alone and feels distressed by the increasing violence in her neighborhood. Amidst conflicts with her neighbors, she decides to film the movement of drug traffickers from her window, hoping to assist the police. After months of recording suspicious activities, her initiative attracts the attention of a journalist, who approaches Nina and offers to support her in her mission.
