Un nuovo membro si unisce alla Banda Shane, formata dal giovane Eli Shane per portare la pace a la giustizia a Slugterra. Si tratta di Junjie, maestro della misteriosa arte di Slug Fu. Nonostante i suoi cinque componenti uniscano le loro forze e collaborino, la Banda Shane si ritroverà ben presto nei guai per proteggere le antiche slug (creature con poteri speciali, ognuna collegata a elementi terrestri) da una malefica alleanza che ha in mente di distruggere le 99 caverne.
