The Secret Six

Bootlegger/cafe owner, Johnny Franks recruits crude working man Scorpio to join his gang, masterminded by crooked criminal defense lawyer Newton. Scorpio eventually takes over Frank's operation, beats a rival gang, becomes wealthy, and dominates the city for several years until a secret group of six masked businessmen have him prosecuted and sent to the electric chair.

Sotto le stelle fredde

Ma il microcosmo della Carnia su cui si focalizza il film risulta essere il riflesso di una realtà piú ampia e forse un espediente per parlare della vita dell’uomo, del suo rapporto con gli animali, la natura e soprattutto con il tempo. Come ne ha scritto Franco Piavoli: "un film che essenzialmente si affida alle immagini e al suono, ove appunto anche le parole sono suoni e musica della vita e del tempo che scorre ininterrottamente."
