La scommessa - Una notte in corsia

È il giorno di Ferragosto in un desolato ospedale napoletano. I due infermieri, Angelo e Salvatore, sono di turno quando viene ricoverato in gravissime condizioni il signor Caputo. Ad Angelo, infermiere navigato, basta un’occhiata per capire che l’uomo non supererà la notte. Salvatore, che non sopporta Angelo, decide però di scommettere il contrario. In palio, le ferie natalizie: chi vince sarà in vacanza nel periodo più ambito dell’anno. Angelo accetta la sfida. Da quel momento in poi, la notte trascorrerà tra il tentativo di Salvatore di tenere in vita il signor Caputo e quello di Angelo di giocare sporco pur di vincere la sua scommessa.
