Night, Birds Scream

Shinichi debuted as a novelist at a young age, but his career has been stagnant for many years. He also has broken up with his girlfriend. His day have now become gloomy. At this time, Yuko and her son moves into Shinichi's home. Yuko is the ex-wife of Shinichi's friend. Shinichi lets them stay at his house. Shinichi writes his novel every night, while Yuko goes out at night to date men. She is conflicted with her feelings to act as a strong parent and to deal with her unspeakable loneliness. Yuko's son, feeling the loss of his father's presence, begins to admire Shinichi. With their living arrangement, Shinichi and Yuko try keep their distance from each other. But one night.. Silly Billies

The boys are a dentist and his assistant traveling to the Old West to open a new practice. Once in town, they buy a business--only to wake up the next day and see that the entire population of this bustling town had left for the California gold fields early that morning! Then, they discover an evil plot to sell out these settlers to some hostile Indians, so they spring to the rescue.

Paperino sta innaffiando le sue angurie (una delle quali ha vinto il 1º premio alla fiera di Pomona). Mentre litiga con la pompa dell'acqua, però, allaga la tana di un citello, il quale esce e si accorge del florido orto di Paperino. Così mangia tutti i ravanelli, poi una cipolla (che però non è di suo gradimento), e infine comincia a divorare le angurie. Presto Paperino se ne accorge, e tenta in tutti i modi di fermare l'animale (tentando anche, senza successo di schiacciarlo con un badile). Il citello però gli sfugge sempre, e l'animale lo blocca a terra usando il fusto della pianta come una corda. Infine il citello, davanti all'impotente Paperino, si mangia in pochi istanti tutto l'orto.
