Het best werd hij waarschijnlijk omschreven in het Utrechts Nieuwsblad: 'meester van de dubbele clou"geestige overdaad die niet schaadt', 'subliem slap gelul' EHBO is mijn lust en mijn leven is het vierde programma van Herman Finkers, opgenomen in de Leidse Schouwburg.

Vipera

Durante la seconda guerra mondiale Leone, un maniscalco siciliano, vive di stenti insieme alla figlia dodicenne Rosetta. La moglie lo ha abbandonato per un altro uomo e lui la chiama "Vipera". Finita la guerra la vita è sempre grama. Rosetta viene violentata da un ex-gerarca ma lo nasconde al padre che, alcolizzato, muore in modo misterioso il giorno in cui a Rosetta nasce un figlio che le viene tolto. Lei viene rinchiusa in un istituto di rieducazione da dove uscirà solo maggiorenne. Alla ricerca di suo figlio Rosetta trova, invece, Vipera che vive con un bambino che potrebbe essere il suo. Rosetta pensa di potersi riavvicinare alla madre ma, quando il vero padre sottrae a Vipera il figlio, questa cade in una disperazione senza rimedio. Rosetta, peregrina disperata finché si affeziona a un ragazzino, forse suo figlio, con il quale troverà un po' di serenità.
