Chunauti is an action-packed romantic comedy that tells a story of love, struggle, and justice. Ajaya and his wife Prabha move to Kathmandu, where Ajaya starts working as a teacher. Later, his sister Gita joins them and enrolls in the same college. There, she meets a kind and charming student, but trouble arises when Madhav, a troublesome student, also starts liking her. One day, a fight breaks out in the college, and when Gita tries to stop it, an inspector arrives and brings the situation under control. Angered by this, Madhav and his group cause harm to Prabha and Gita. They also try to escape punishment through legal means. With no strong evidence, Ajaya takes a stand and challenges the court. In the end, he decides to take justice into his own hands, leading to a tragic ending where the inspector, fulfilling his duty, stops Ajaya. Chunauti is a story of love, courage, and sacrifice in the face of injustice.

I turned my gaze to the various events in daily life and made this filmic diary in a manner as if confessing my feelings. Of course, since I was making the film, I wanted to depict these feelings and events with tricky techniques. I used various methods to shoot photographs of a relative's wedding, the landscape I see from window of my house, commemorative travel photographs and the like frame-by-frame.

Return to Sleepaway Camp

È come al solito campo estivo a Camp Manabe, dove i bambini si tormentano a vicenda per divertimento mentre il personale sottopagato del campo fornisce la minor supervisione possibile. L'avido proprietario del campo Frank e il giovane partner Ronnie fanno del loro meglio per tenere tutti in riga, ma qualcosa di sinistro sta per mettere un taglio. Quando i campeggiatori e il personale iniziano misteriosamente a scomparire ea trasformarsi in macabri cadaveri, il paranoico Ronnie non riesce a scrollarsi di dosso il ricordo di una serie di macabri omicidi avvenuti a Camp Arawak. Con l'aggravarsi della paranoia, l'elenco dei possibili assassini di Ronnie inizia a crescere proprio come il numero dei morti. Solo una cosa è certa, qualcosa sta tracciando una nuova sanguinosa pista allo Sleepaway Camp dove i bambini possono essere così cattivi e sopravvivere quest'estate sarà un vero assassino!

Hard, harder, hardest! This film orders you from the start to turn up the volume and pay attention. "Look out! We're Coming to Get You!" is a flood of images driven by a tempest of guitars. The film's creators jam 20 years of German music history into 120 minutes of film. Musicians from BLIND PASSENGERS, DIE SKEPTIKER, SANDOW and other bands explode their way through the film. Fans of the DEFA documentary "Flüstern und Schreien" ("Whisper and Shout") already know the stars of that film, Aljoscha, Paul and Flake of the band Feeling B. Here they have a chance to see how these musicians survived the period after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the "escalation of possibilities" that came with it. And you're allowed to laugh, too!
