Enric Marco, ex-president of the Spain’s main deportees’ association, embarks on a car trip to Germany, a demythologising journey into his past. Two years earlier, a historian had shown that Enric Marco wasn’t the member of the Resistance he had claimed to be, and that he’d made up the stories of his experiences in a concentration camp that he had been recounting on television for years. Now, Marco retraces the route of his 1941 train journey as part of a convoy of workers sent by Franco to Hitler, in the middle of the Second World War.

Joe accetta anche per far recuperare alla società cui appartiene un milione di dollari di un film-fiction a suo tempo messo allo studio e di cui poi non si fece nulla, ad eccezione di un orrendo dinosauro, testé piazzato in memoria del defunto nel giardino della società stessa. Joe dunque convoca Sid Spokance, un regista fanatico dei vecchi divi, lo sceneggiatore Herb Derman ed altri "cervelli" della produzione. Ma sono tentativi vani: nessuno riesce a far brillare uno spunto, ne a tesserci intorno una storia valida, forse anche perché i convocati hanno quasi tutti - ad eccezione proprio di Joe - vite emotive e familiari complicate e rappezzate. Così il film non si farà e, tutto sommato, ognuno capisce in cuor suo che probabilmente si sarebbe andati incontro ad un sicuro insuccesso.

The A.R.M.S. Benefit Concert from London

The idea for hosting the concert was envisaged by Ronnie Lane, ex-bassist for The Small Faces and The Faces, himself a casualty of multiple sclerosis. The concert was billed as The Ronnie Lane Appeal for ARMS and featured a star-studded line-up of British musicians, including Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Steve Winwood, Andy Fairweather Low, Bill Wyman, Kenney Jones and Charlie Watts. The concert was particularly notable in the fact that it was the first occasion on which Clapton, Beck and Page, each a former lead guitarist for The Yardbirds, had performed together on stage.

Wrath of Dracula

The year is 1897. When her husband Jonathan disappears after travelling from England to Transylvania at the behest of the mysterious Count Dracula, Mina Harker journeys to Transylvania to find him. The Goss family live on a farm they call the dust bowl where the wind blows during the day and the coyotes howl at night. US Marshal Lloyd Richland comes into town in disguise to find the truth and he finds that the sheriff is corrupt and that the Goss family is gosh darn nice. They take in Richland and a stranded woman named Mary without any questions. Cotton believes that Sheriff Tatum shot their pa in the back, and the sheriff is now trying to plug the boys. Richland is looking for the train robbers, and at the same time is keeping an eye on Tatum and the lovely young Mary.
