Dovendo trasferire Lucy a Innsbruck, Stephen viaggia con due militari e una giovane cuoca. Lungo la strada, Brooks sopprime un soldato della scorta che minacciava di uccidere Lucy, poi decide di raggiungere la Svizzera valicando i monti insieme all'animale. L'originalità del soggetto trabocca nell'eccesso, e il film diventa stucchevole. Uno dei classici colossi semiseri e strampalati che si producevano nel periodo.

Mentre sta per sparare sulle ultime uova di critters, Charlie (Don Keith Opper) riceve un avviso in cui si comunica che sarebbe illegale farlo perché porterebbe all’estinzione la razza.
