Uno di questi in effetti confessa la sua colpa ma, un furioso incendio scoppiato nel negozio distrugge anche il laboratorio, vanificando l'opera vendicativa. Efficacissimo ed ancora valido horror che riesce a unire temi fantastici con quelli scientifici. Browing si conferma maestro del genere, coadiuvato dalla luciferina lucidità di Barrymore.
