Life of a Mutt

Through seven scenes, the film follows the life and destinies of stray dogs from the margins of our society, leading us to reconsider our attitude towards them. Through the seven “wandering” characters that we follow at different ages, from birth to old age, we witness their dignified struggle for survival. At the cemetery, in an abandoned factory, in an asylum, in a landfill, in places full of sorrow, our heroes search for love and togetherness. By combining documentary material, animation and acting interpretation of the thoughts of our heroes, we get to know lives between disappointment and hope, quite similar to ours.

Anakin, divenuto sempre più vicino al Cancelliere, nel frattempo soffre di moleste visioni a proposito della Senatrice Padme Amidala, sposata in segreto. Sin dall'inizio della Guerra dei Cloni si è andato avvicinando sempre più al Lato Oscuro della Forza, incoraggiato da Palpatine, e presto lo scontro diverrà inevitabile. Obi-Wan Kenobi non avrà altra scelta che confrontarsi col suo antico apprendista in una battaglia mentre si affaccia un nuovo conflitto che determinerà il destino della Galassia.

Chris Samuels è un ex wrestler professionista che si ritira dal ring per stabilirsi come pastore in una piccola città. Quando da pastore assiste a problemi della comunità decide di fare il chiarezza come un vigilante mascherato che combatte l'ingiustizie. Mentre affronta le crisi a casa e in chiesa, il pastore deve sfuggire alla polizia e in qualche modo riconciliare la sua identità segreta e violenta con la sua vocazione di pastore.

La giovane Cristina abbandona i genitori lamentando una sempre più forte necessità di libertà e manifestando la volontà di rendersi indipendente economicamente. Il padre risente molto dell'allontanamento della figlia, ma la madre della ragazza convince il marito sul fatto che per una giovane donna la necessità di sentirsi liberi ed affermati è importante. I genitori della ragazza non conoscono, però, le vere intenzioni di Cristina. La giovane, infatti, raggiunta l'abitazione della sua migliore amica inizia a prostituirsi per mezzo di annunci sui giornali locali. Ben presto le due ragazze si arricchiscono ma, inevitabilmente, finiscono col contornarsi di personaggi equivoci e loschi. A un certo punto tutti i clienti di Cristina cominciano ad essere assassinati da un misterioso individuo nero vestito che per uccidere usa un affilato rasoio. Non sarà facile identificare l'omicida.

Tel chi el telùn

Spettacolo teatrale del trio comico Aldo, Giovanni e Giacomo del 1999, con la regia di Arturo Brachetti. La rappresentazione, che è stata anche commercializzata in versione DVD, ha visto protagonisti oltre ai membri del trio (Aldo Baglio, Giovanni Storti e Giacomo Poretti) anche Marina Massironi, Corrado Guzzanti, Antonio Cornacchione e Raul Cremona. Il titolo è un gioco di parole in quanto presenta una forte assonanza con la frase "tel chi el terùn" ("eccolo qui il terrone"). In effetti, il trio - che è composto da due attori settentrionali e uno meridionale - deve parte del suo successo alla forte contrapposizione linguistico-caratteriale dei propri membri e utilizza talvolta, sempre in senso bonariamente scherzoso, anche la parola "terrone" nei propri sketch.
