Il giardino di Paperino

Paperino sta innaffiando le sue angurie (una delle quali ha vinto il 1º premio alla fiera di Pomona). Mentre litiga con la pompa dell'acqua, però, allaga la tana di un citello, il quale esce e si accorge del florido orto di Paperino. Così mangia tutti i ravanelli, poi una cipolla (che però non è di suo gradimento), e infine comincia a divorare le angurie. Presto Paperino se ne accorge, e tenta in tutti i modi di fermare l'animale (tentando anche, senza successo di schiacciarlo con un badile). Il citello però gli sfugge sempre, e l'animale lo blocca a terra usando il fusto della pianta come una corda. Infine il citello, davanti all'impotente Paperino, si mangia in pochi istanti tutto l'orto.

At the war front, he falls in love with the the colonel's daughter and will have to perform various feats to get her attention.

Kenny Williams, a lieutenant on the homicide squad, is engaged to Maxine Carroll, the Mayor's secretary. Or isn't he rather married with his job? For each time he has a date with his longtime fiancée, he is prevented from keeping it by his devotion to duty. Maxine, in desperation, decides to take action and bring Kenny to the altar. As his witnesses, Lucheni brings back the dead aristocracy of the bygone era and takes us to the past, where he serves as a sarcastic narrator of the events that lead to the transformation of the sweet and innocent Sisi to the revered and infamous Elisabeth, Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary, and her decline through later years until her assassination.
