A fictional character, Rasmus Nielsen, travels around the country, first as a traveling teacher, later in other positions, and through his experiences we are introduced to the conditions of various population groups. The central figure in the portrayal of historical figures is the politician Orla Lehmann.

Cooler è stato sconfitto da Goku dopo che quest'ultimo lo scagliò contro il Sole uccidendolo. Tuttavia, parte della sua materia cerebrale rimase a galla nello spazio e venne casualmente in contatto con Big Gete Star, un enorme pianeta meccanico generato da rifiuti spaziali e completamente autonomo. Big Gete Star ricostruisce così l'entità di Cooler che, una volta preso il totale controllo del computer principale, si dirige verso il pianeta di Neo Namecc attaccandolo e cominciando ad assorbirne l'energia vitale.
