Paulista

Three metropolitan stories entwine in São Paulo. Would-be actress Marina arrives in the city looking for independence, falls madly in love with Justine, a bisexual rock singer, and is swept up into her wild, edgy lifestyle. Marina shares a flat on Avenida Paulista with Suzana, a mysterious lawyer who begins a relationship with a male colleague who is unaware that she's transsexual. Jay lives a few floors above them. He is a frustrated writer trying to give a meaning to his life by idealizing a stunningly beautiful prostitute, whom he transforms into a sort of muse. Following the frenetic pace of the city, the three "Paulista" characters will experience the euphoria of passion and its downside.

The Land of Morning Calm

Feeling stuck, young fisherman Yong-su sees no hope in his future - like a fish in a net. As a last resort, he plans an insurance scam by staging his disappearance, hoping to provide a better life for his Vietnamese wife and his ageing mother. At the centre of this scheme is his captain, Yeong-guk, who reluctantly reports Yong-su missing. However, when Yong-su’s mother refuses to connect her son’s disappearance with his death, the white lie snowballs into something harder to chew.

Mr. Barnes dies and leaves everything to Linda but he has urged his partner, Alexander Duncan, to plan things so that Jimmy and Linda will get married. Coached by Duncan, Linda accepts the inheritance and announces that she is departing for New York on a wild spending spree. He tells Jimmy that the will can be broken but only after many months and he suggests that Jimmy follow Linda and curb her spending or there won't be any money left. In New York, Linda hires Jimmy as her private secretary. Connie also arrives in New York, as does the ingenious Baron Rene de Montigny with the intention of marrying the wealthy Miss Gray.

Un irrequieto ventenne nell'Inghilterra degli anni Sessanta.Londra, 1965. Jimmy Cooper, fattorino in un'agenzia pubblicitaria, segue i concerti dei suoi beniamini, partecipa alle furibonde risse tra Rockers e Mods, viene iniziato all'esperienza della droga e cerca nella musica il riscatto a una vita senza prospettive. Woodstock - Tre giorni di pace, amore e musica

Woodstock è un documentario americano che racconta l'omonimo Festival tenutosi a Bethel nell'agosto del 1969. Il film fu diretto da Michael Wadleigh e fu montato da (tra gli altri) Martin Scorsese e Thelma Schoonmaker. Ricevette l'Oscar come miglior documentario e fu nominato per il miglior sonoro. Nel 1996, Woodstock fu scelto per essere conservato nella National Film Registry della Biblioteca del Congresso poiché esso è "culturalmente, storicamente o esteticamente significativo". Il 9 giugno 2009 è uscita una versione più lunga, sia in Blu-Ray che in DVD, con alcune scene non presenti nella versione precedente, incluse le versioni integrali delle esibizioni dei Creedence Clearwater Revival e altri.
