La pantera rosa sfida l'ispettore Clouseau

L'ex ispettore capo Charles Dreyfus sta per essere dimesso dal manicomio, nel quale entrò tre anni prima a causa della sua mania omicida. Ma una visita inattesa del suo nemico, l'ispettore capo Jacques Clouseau, che adesso ha preso il suo posto, lo fa impazzire di nuovo e Dreyfus, per vendetta, fugge dal manicomio e tenta di ucciderlo. Fallisce e Clouseau si mette sulle sue orme. Allora Dreyfus per eliminare Clouseau fonda un impero criminale e minaccia il mondo con una potente arma mentre vari assassini, inviati da diverse nazioni, tentano di eliminare Clouseau, che sta indagando in Inghilterra e successivamente in Baviera.
