The Words Women Spoke One Day

1962, at the end of the Algerian War, Algerian independence activists are released from Rennes prison. For one night, filmmaker Yann Le Masson films them. They tell him their vision for the future of Algeria and the place women must occupy in the new society to be built. Fifty years later, with the soundtrack missing, Raphaël Pillosio sets out to find these women. Two deaf people set about lip-reading the women filmed by Yann Le Masson, revealing snatches of sentences, words cut short by the camera's shifts. An investigative film in which the few activists still alive discover their old testimonies and tell us their silent story. The reconstruction of the lost soundtrack will remain in suspense; no happy ending will come to absorb the absence, to cancel the ferocious operation of time. Japan Live '94 (also known as Live in Japan) a live album that was recorded by Savatage. The show that was recorded for the release was held in Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan on November 12, 1994 and was the last show on the short Handful of Rain tour. The show is noted for featuring Jon Oliva in a prominent role, his first since "leaving" the band in 1992. Jon has an extended piano intro on "Gutter Ballet" and shares lead vocals with Stevens, making it his first performance as a lead vocalist with the band for 2 years. Oliva also performs rhythm guitar for "Hall of the Mountain King".

Il film ruota intorno a come una donna indiana, Bharti, che sacrifica la sua vita per i suoi figli e il marito, eppure loro non apprezzano né lei né i suoi sacrifici, e la maltrattano tutti. Poi le cose cambiano quando suo nipote, Mann, viene in suo soccorso. Le procura degli incarichi da modella che la portano ad avere più successo di tutti i membri della famiglia, compreso suo marito. Anche dopo tanto successo le manca l'amore e l'affetto dei membri della famiglia. Mann le suggerisce di dare una lezione a tutti in casa in modo che comincino a stimarla. Il film ha un lieto fine dove lei si riunisce con la sua famiglia e loro imparano a rispettarla e ad apprezzare gli sforzi che lei fa per mantenerli felici. La morale del film è l'importanza di tua madre e di tutto quello che fa per te. Rispettarla e dare valore ai suoi sforzi.

Il diario di Jerry

Tom vuole uccidere Jerry con una serie di trappole, ma un programma radiofonico basato sull'affabilità lo costringe ad essere gentile con lui per almeno una settimana. Il gatto decide così di mostrare al topo la sua cordialità portando per lui un mazzo di fiori, una torta di fragole ed una scatola di pasticcini. Jerry però non è in casa e Tom inizia ad attendere l'arrivo del topo leggendo in segreto il suo diario. Inizialmente aveva letto un ricordo tratto da Lo sport più distensivo del mondo, ma il suo divertimento cessò quando lesse di quella volta che la pallina da golf gli ruppe i denti. Tom decide di calmare la pazienza leggendo un altro ricordo tratto stavolta da Jerry nei guai. Qui però legge che Jerry gli aveva dato un pugno sugli occhi e, buttato via il mazzo di fiori, inizia a voltare gli occhi verso quella volta in cui Jerry, in Solid Serenade, gli fece chiudere il collo nella finestra della cucina facendolo urlare...
