What happened to the children?

In this documentary we meet five children in Sweden and see what happened in their lives. Robin was nine years old, but he already knew what a prison looked like and the bad a punishment can do. Frida was not yet born when we filmed her mother Angela in 1983. Her sister Malin lived for several years in a foster family. Bosse was 14 years old and in 9th grade when we met him in 1978. He was the only guy in the class who had glasses. Marie received many postcards and letters from her father, but very rarely met him while she was growing up.

Claudio diventa imperatore dopo l'uccisione di Caligola da parte dei pretoriani, il cui capo, Marco, è innamorato della di lui moglie, l'immorale Messalina. Diventa così rivale di Mirit, sacerdotessa di Iside, che ricatta lo schiavo per avere i suoi favori. L'imperatore Claudio, intanto sventa un complotto per rovesciarlo ordito da Marco, e lo fa uccidere. Per ottenere la libertà, Ennio partecipa ad una corsa di quadrighe, ma Mirit, indispettita dai suoi rifiuti, gli fa uccidere i preziosi cavalli su cui egli contava per la vittoria. Senza questi, Ennio si rovescia durante la gara e rischia di essere ucciso dai gladiatori, e sarà Messalina ad intervenire ed a portarlo in salvo. Ma poi l'imperatrice ordisce un complotto contro il marito e quando è scoperta, preferisce uccidersi prima di essere ridotta in catene dai pretoriani.

Working completely outside the mainstream, the wildly prolific, visionary Stan Brakhage made more than 350 films over a half century. Challenging all taboos in his exploration of “birth, sex, death, and the search for God,” he has turned his camera on explicit lovemaking, childbirth, even autopsy. Many of his most famous works pursue the nature of vision itself and transcend the act of filming. Some, including the legendary Mothlight, were made without using a camera at all, as he pioneered the art of making images directly on film, by drawing, painting, and scratching.

Gallagher: The Maddest

Gallagher wants to talk to you about style. Yeah, the sweaty guy on roller skates with the one-of-a-kind "bowling ball wearing a hula skirt" hairdo. Might seem like an odd topic coming from the man who uses humor as a blunt instrument (and not just when he's wailing a watermelon with his Sledge-O-Matic), but that's just what you get in this hour-long stand-up piece from 1983. You see, for comedy's prop master extraordinaire, style isn't so much about finesse as it is about flair. Flair he's got in spades, as long as you're willing to call stupid hats and a trampoline disguised as a huge couch flair. The bits travel well-worn paths through mating and parenthood, and the material does often betray its age (the fact that National Enquirer headlines are stupid isn't exactly revolutionary comedy). However, what ultimately makes Gallagher giggle-worthy isn't the material itself, but the zeal with which he swings for the big laugh. Hammer in hand or not, the man's got style.

2032 – After a large part of the female population was wiped out by a deadly virus five years ago, the government tries to stabilize the population with the help of surviving women. During a routine checkup, the two Blood Agents meet Mel Arcan, a disguised psychopath who tests their friendship.
