Omicidi di classe

Due studenti sono disposti a fare di tutto pur di diventare i migliori della scuola, passare gli esami a pieni voti ed entrare ad Harward. Secondo una consuetudine delle università americane, il compagno di stanza di un ragazzo suicida ottiene automaticamente il massimo dei voti. I due protagonisti Tim (Matthew Lillard) e Chris (Michael Vartan) decidono di sfruttare questa possibilità, ai danni del loro compagno di stanza Rand (Randall Batinkoff). Come tutti i film del genere ripropone l'atmosfera del college fatta di cameratismo, allegria, ma questa volta assumendo i caratteri del giallo. Il risultato è un insieme di suspence e di colpi di scena, ma non particolarmente entusiasmanti.

E' assodato che si tratta di un delitto, ma chi ne è l'autore? Gianni e Pinotto si fanno credere detective, incaricati delle indagini, dando così origine ad una serie di comiche avventure. Poliziotti autentici prendono Gianni e Pinotto per gli assassini e li costringono a fuggire. Intanto viene estratta una lotteria radiofonica e ne risulta vincitore Pinotto. Egli deve però presentarsi nell'auditorio entro mezz'ora, perché diversamente il premio è perduto. I due, incuranti dei poliziotti, si presentano durante la trasmissione e col loro intervento permettono di scoprire gli assassini. Così, oltre al premio, avranno la fama cui aspiravano, di uomini del mistero.
